The Protestant adult home education centre of Kohren-Sahlis

Our house was founded in the years after 1996 as a centre for educating families and adults on the
countryside. We invite you to lectures, exhibitions and one-day or several days’ seminars and welcome different groups from the church or the society to use our house for their conferences. Please read our brochure or check the internet for any information about topics, speakers and costs for the seminars.
In four different parts of our building situated at the traditional parish court of Kohren, we offer you
accommodation in 34 single rooms, double rooms and multi-bedrooms with a total of 79 beds. Some parts of
the house are suitable for wheelchairs. Along with two big and two small conference rooms you can also use our private chapel, a small library, a computer room, a creative room and a sports room. Our kitchen offers you up to four meals a day. The outside area around the building can be used for sports activities and games and our fire and barbecue is not only to be used in summer.
Our home education centre is situated in an idyllic surrounding in the middle of the Kohrener Land and is
halfway between Chemnitz and Leipzig.You can easily go for a walk or plan an excursion there: Don´t miss
the old pottery town Kohren-Sahlis, visit the picturesque villages nearby, the vally Muldental, the traditional
town Altenburg as well as the town Gnandstein and its Romanesque castle whitch is the oldest in Saxony.

La „Heimvolkshochschule” évangélique de Kohren-Sahlis – un lieu de formation,
de rencontre et de connaissance
Notre maison est née dans les années 1996 dans un cadre rural, comme centre de formation pour adultes et familles. Nous vous invitons à des conférences, des expositions ainsi qu’á des séminaires de plusieurs jours, et notre maison est mise à disposition pour les congrès de groupes divers, religieux ou associatifs. Les informations sur les sujets, les sonférenciers et les tarifs de nos séminaires se trouvent dans notre programme et sur Internet.
Nous vous proposons un hébergement dans les quatre bâtiments du presbytére traditionnel de Kohren, comprenant 34 chambres simples, doubles ou dortoirs, avec au total 79 lits. Une partie de la maison est adaptée aux fauteuils roulants. A côté de deux grandes et deux petites salles de séminaire, une chapelle et une petit bibliothéque, une salle d’informatique, un espace de créativité ainsi qu´une salle de sport sont à votre disposition. Notre cuisine prépare jusqu´à quatre repas par jour. Sur notre terrain extérieur, vous avez la possibilité de pratiquer sports et jeux ; notre feu de camp et barbecue ne sont pas seulement convoitées en été… L´emplacement idyllique de notre Heimvolkshochschule au cœur du pays de Kohren, à mi-chemin entre Chemnitz et Leipzig, invite à la promenade et aux excursions : découvrez la vieille ville potière de Kohren-Sahlis, visitez les villages pittoresques des environs, la proche vallée de Mulden, Gnandstein avec son vieux château-fort roman ou la ville Altenburg pleine de traditions.

Nasz dom powstal w 1996 roku jako Centrum Kszatlcenia Rodzin i Doroslych na terenach wiejskich. Zapraszamy na wyklady, wystawy, oraz jedno- i kilkudniowe seminaria. Nasz dom oddajemy chetnie do dyspozycji najrózniejszym grupom koscielnym i stowarzyszeniom dla organizowanych przez nie spotkan. O tematach, referentach i kosztach seminariów informujemy w naszej broszurze i w internecie.
W czteroczesciowym budynku, o tradycyjenej dla Kohren zabudowie, oferujemy Panstwu nocleg w 34 jedno-, dwu- I wieloosobowych pokojach w sumie z 79 lózkami. Czesc domu jest przystosowana dla osób poruszajacych sie na wózku inwalidzkim. Oprócz dwóch duzych i dwóch malych sal seminaryjnych do Panstwa dyspozycji pozostaje kaplica, mala biblioteka, gabinet komputerowy, pomieszczenie do pracy kreatywnej oraz sala sportowa. Nasza kuchnia przygotowuje cztery posilki dziennie. Okoliczne tereny stwarzaja mozliwosc uprawiania sportu i zabaw – nasze ognisko i miejsce do grillowania ciesza sie zainteresowaniem nie tylko latem.
